Open Access publications at Engineering Journal IJOER provide free and unrestricted access to research for readers, in line with our commitment to broad dissemination of scientific knowledge. Authors and copyright holders grant users a worldwide, perpetual right to access, distribute, and display their work, with proper attribution. Authors also have the option to deposit their work in repositories for long-term archiving and public access.
An Open Access Publication in IJOER meets the following conditions:
Authors and copyright holders grant all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual right of access to the published work. This includes the right to copy, use, distribute, transmit, display the work publicly, and create derivative works for responsible purposes, provided that proper attribution of authorship is given. Additionally, users have the right to make a limited number of printed copies for personal use.
A complete version of the work, along with all supplementary materials, is deposited in a suitable online repository immediately after publication. The repository is supported by an academic institution, scholarly society, government agency, or another well-established organization that enables open access, unrestricted distribution, interoperability, and long-term archiving.
Note: The enforcement of proper attribution and responsible use of published work is upheld by community standards, as it is today, rather than by copyright law.
The Engineering Journal: IJOER provides authors with a choice between commercial and non-commercial Creative Commons licenses for gold open access articles in our proprietary titles. The journal also supports green open access, allowing accepted articles to be self-archived, following our sharing guidelines. Articles self-archived under green open access must be accompanied by a CC-BY-NC-ND license.
Once selected, Creative Commons user licenses are non-revocable. We recommend that authors verify whether their funding body requires a specific license before making a selection. For further guidance, authors can refer to the Creative Commons website to learn more about different user licenses.
Here is a summary of the licenses used by Engineering Journal: IJOER:
