Engineering Journal IJOER: Payment and Refund Policy

The Engineering Journal: IJOER requires full payment of publication fees after manuscript acceptance. Payments are non-refundable once processed, except in cases of duplicate payments or technical errors. If an author withdraws their article after payment, no refund will be issued. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days, and disputes must be reported within 30 days. Authors receive invoices and receipts for all transactions, and refunds are processed within 30 business days if applicable.

Payment and Refund Policy for Engineering Journal: IJOER

1. Payment Terms:

• All authors submitting manuscripts to Engineering Journal: IJOER are required to make the necessary publication fee payment upon acceptance of their paper.
• The payment details, including the amount and the available payment methods (bank transfer, online payment gateways, etc.), will be provided to the author after the acceptance of the manuscript.
• All payments must be made in full before the publication process begins. The journal will not proceed with the publication of an article until the full payment is received.

2. Invoice and Receipts:

• Upon receiving payment, Engineering Journal: IJOER will issue an official invoice and receipt for the transaction.
• Authors are encouraged to retain copies of all invoices and receipts for future reference and any potential queries.

3. Refund Policy

• Non-refundable Fees: The publication fee is non-refundable once the paper has been accepted and the payment is processed. This policy is in place due to the editorial, review, and administrative processes involved in publishing the article.
• Rejection Before Payment: If a manuscript is rejected during the peer review or initial screening process, no payment will be required from the author.
• Withdrawal by Author: If the author chooses to withdraw the article after payment has been made, no refund will be issued. Authors are advised to ensure their commitment to the publication process before making the payment.

4. Refund Exceptions:

In exceptional cases, refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

• Duplicate Payments: If a duplicate payment is made by error, the author must notify the journal's finance department within 14 days, along with proof of both transactions. In such cases, a full refund for the duplicate payment will be issued.
• Technical Issues: If there is a technical error in the payment process that leads to an overcharge, the author can submit a refund request within 14 days of payment.

5. Refund Process:

• All refund requests must be made in writing to the journal’s Account team at info.ijoer@gmail.com or info@ijoer.com.
• Refund requests will be processed within 30 business days of receipt, provided they meet the criteria mentioned above.
• Refunds will be credited through the original payment method used for the transaction.

6. Disputes:

Any payment disputes or discrepancies must be reported within 30 days of payment. Engineering Journal: IJOER will not entertain disputes after this period.
